Ryan began his career as an intern in a Gold Coast university clinic. Ryan subsequently graduated from his Master of Professional Psychology and completed his next internship period at a private clinic in northern Gold Coast where he worked for around 18 months. Initially Ryan focused on fundamental skill development, goal-setting and outcomes. Ryan found passions for working with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Anxiety, Depressive concerns, trauma, autism and ADHD as well as psychometric and neurodevelopmental assessments. Ryan is keen to work across the lifespan with key focus on late adolescence and young/middle adulthood.
Ryan uses a range of techniques including CBT, ACT, Exposure & Ritual Prevention (ERP), Gottman Method Couple Therapy, Parent Management Training (PMT) currently developing in: Schema therapy.
