Experience & Techniques
Driven by an insatiable fascination with the complexities of the human mind, Sarah completed her Bachelors, Honours, and Master's degrees in Psychology. Her training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) provides a solid foundation, but she also draws from additional modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-based Techniques to meet her clients' unique needs. Always eager to expand her knowledge and skills, Sarah is committed to continuous professional development. With an interest in receiving professional training in Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Psychoanalytic Therapy to enhance her ability to support her clients further. During her placements in student clinics across Bundoora and Ivanhoe, Sarah skilfully implemented CBT to help clients with a wide range of presenting concerns. As a provisional psychologist, she finds great fulfilment in helping individuals gain insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.
Sarah works with a range of techniques including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness-based Techniques.
