Fascinated by the role of the human mind in our everyday experiences, Amanda began pursuing a career in psychology from the age of 16. Having worked across clinical and sport settings, she holds specialised training in performance psychology, and enjoys working closely with individuals, teams and organisations to enhance mental performance. Amanda seamlessly transfers this strengths-based approach to her work with all types of clients and presenting concerns, such as anxiety, depression, and critical life transitions. She continuously engages in professional development to expand her skillset and model a growth mindset.
Amanda predominantly uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), alongside Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy.
