Carla is a very empathetic Psychologist who uses scientific knowledge for the treatment of mental health disorders, focusing on attentive listening, supporting her clients and promoting social, emotional and physical wellbeing. Moving from Brazil, Carla has spent the last 3 years working with and supporting clients with different types of presentations aswell as being heavily involved in the disability sector. Carla has a bachelor's degree in psychology and postgraduate specialisation degrees in clinical and health psychology in Brazil. Here in Australia, she has a diploma in Counselling and another one in Yoga and short-term training in Applied Behaviour Analysis.

She is skilled in depression and anxiety disorders (obsessive-compulsive disorder - OCD; generalized anxiety disorder - GAD; panic disorder and social anxiety disorder); bipolar disorder; attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD); obesity; bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder.
Carla is a specialist in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and she combines elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy to assist her clients.
