Bandai Choi is a Clinical Psychologist with a warm, compassionate, and evidence-based approach to therapy. With over 14 years of experience in the mental health field, he supports clients across the lifespan through complex trauma, mood disorders, attachment difficulties, and relational challenges. Bandai is multilingual, offering therapy in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and is deeply attuned to cultural sensitivity and diversity. Drawing from a range of modalities—including Schema Therapy, EMDR, ACT, and EFT—he tailors treatment to each client’s needs, helping them reconnect with their values and overcome longstanding emotional struggles. He is passionate about cultivating a therapeutic space grounded in safety, insight, and authentic connection.

Experiences and Techniques

Bandai Choi is a Clinical Psychologist registered with AHPRA, the UK and Hong Kong professional councils. He holds Master’s degrees in both Clinical Psychology and Social Work from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Bandai has worked across public, private, and NGO sectors and served as an honorary clinical supervisor at two Hong Kong universities. His clinical experience spans crisis intervention, trauma recovery, personality disorders, family violence, and complex attachment presentations.
