General Psychologist
Orapan Machin is a compassionate and skilled Psychologist and Behaviour Support Practitioner based in Melbourne. She works providing clinical interventions and behavioural support for individuals with disabilities and mental health conditions. Orapan has extensive experience supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, including refugees and asylum seekers, and specialises in working with those experiencing depression, anxiety, social anxiety, trauma, autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.

Experiences and Techniques

Orapan holds a Master of Professional Psychology from La Trobe University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Honours) from the University of Canberra. She has also completed several qualifications, including a Certificate III in Aged Care, Community Care, and Disability Care. In addition to her academic achievements, Orapan has gained practical experience through various roles, including as a Mental Health Support Worker with Woden Community Service, and a Community/Disability Support Worker with Care Plus Services, where she supported clients with mental health, physical disabilities, and complex needs. In addition to her academic achievements, Orapan has extensive experience working with clients from various presentations including depression, anxiety, social anxiety and trauma. Orapan also has worked with autistic, ADHD, learning difficulties children and adolescent in the NDIS services. Her previous work as a mental health support worker further demonstrates her dedication to making a positive impact in the community, particularly with vulnerable populations. Orapan is skilled in tailoring evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive- Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing Technique (MI), Family Systems Theory, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, always grounding her work in safety, compassion, and individualised care.
