Michael has special interest in working with individuals with eating-disorders, and addiction. He is keen to work with clients from across a lifespan. He is also good with children. He likes to take the time to talk with clients and understand their troubles to work together to come up with the best way to meet the client’s needs. In his spare time, Michael likes to watch Marvel movies, go to the gym, and spend time with his family and dog (Bubbles).

Experiences and Techniques

Michael is a registered psychologist who is passionate about providing quality support to children, adolescents, and adults. Michael is keen to build positive therapeutic relationships and is committed to helping his clients achieve their therapy goals. In his work in private practice, he has gained experience working with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, social anxiety, and trauma. Furthermore, Michael has worked with autistic and ADHD children and adolescents in the NDIS space, utilising a neurodiversity-affirming, person-centred and family-systems approach to help clients make positive change. In terms of therapeutic modalities, he utilises a blend of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) & Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
